Description
This is the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Howler hand puppet I made for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Release Party at my local Borders.
His form is made from 18 gauge floral wire, covered in butcher paper, then covered again in some nice handmade paper from my spiffie art supply store. The ribbon is real, naturally... The note is, in fact, the full length rant from Ron's mother after the theft of the car to get to Hogwarts. He measures about 9 and a half inches wide and extends to about 8 and a half inches when in full-scream mode. He is completely functional by use of a rig in the back.
If there is any interest, I will post the step-by-step process in which I made him for all to see.
NOTE: HP, CoS, and Howler are NOT, I repeat- NOT- © me!
