WOW! Did this for Illustration class?
 ... Had to illustrate a opera or Broadway show. I got Madame Butterfly. I LOVE this piece, I just need to COMPLETELY redo it... just wanted to post it and get your opinions on if I should or if it would be a waste of my time...The geisha is made up of acrylic paint, pencil, colored pencil, charcoal and marker, I believe. In background- sakura stick is CUT OUT of paper and really nice vellum was attached behind it so that one day I could paint a Japanese landscape and you would just ~barely~ be able to see it through the vellum. HATE the attempted-metallic THING I put the plant in... should have been a Ming vase or something.... not sure what I was thinking there. So what do you guys think? is this WORTH resurrecting? Actual measurements: 20 in x 16in (50 1/2 cm x 40 1/2 cm) by the way- you steal, I cut your head off... got me? |

Should I try to do this again? My art style has changed DRASTICALLY since I did this and I ponder whether I can actually make it better or if I would just be digging a deeper hole!
What do you think I should do? Bury it or remake it?
