PS Keep us posted 'kay
And believe me- I WILL keep everyone posted!
I am not as young as I once was. I share a birth year with our current president, and some days wonder if I should try to carry on. we do have a bad case of ageism in the country. however that is not all
to wit when I was much younger, I had some family problems come up, Parents health. This did a number on where my focus should lie for me. said problems spanned almost a decade and have taken a bit of a toll on my ability to see myself as a student any more. but that is me being hard on me i suppose.
I did want to go to the kubert school back in the day, I didn't and now I regret it. On the liter side my nephew is going to cooking school, he is have a bit of a hard time of it from what I hear. truth to tell I am proud of him come what ever graduation, flunking out or somewhere in between I am proud.
well enought about me, good luck my dear and all the best.

Thanks for being here for me. I need more support than you could possibly imagine right now.
Hell you haven't used up the first of your first wind, My problem is that I am surrounded by what can only be called pesents. No I am not beig snid, hard on them, acting all suppior, nor am I full of myself. These folks just don't get it, if it doesn't have anything to do with cats, insuracne, sports and so on. . . . Well you get the drift.
Sides cash is a celdom deat in this area, little Eygpt. so I can just hang on it seems.
But enought of my belly aching. . . . I have a question for you dear, if I might
What are you going to do when you grow up? In the arts taht is I am not tring to be snide here, just asking is all.
An who you callin an old fart anyhoo

I hope to be a storyboard artist for Pixar. Of course, that is the DREAM... I would settle for any job that offers a challenge for me.
No dear I live here in the states, the region is nicknamed Little Eygpt. A lovley place to have some cash, terrible to have very little. as for the far of Eygpt i to would like to see that oft storied place. There or Europe, London or Paris.
Storyboard artist, you have a lot more stmaina than I, I rember Dan Obannon talking about boarding Aliens. The longest 3 months of his life.
As for the challange, by the time you get out you will prolly find that the ground has changed. you might be able to do a short film your self, either 3D or live action.
Say, have you got some collage under your belt? That should be in your favor, most art schools like to have students that have had extra schooling. However , god forbid you do not get in, reapply to the place next year, and in that worst case senorio make a trip out there to talk to some of the faucilty. that can't help and will help show how serious you are about this. the only other thing I can tell you about school is treat it as a job, a full time job. Sit down and give yourself study/art time. The rule of thumb I have used is one and a half hours for lecure classes and 2 hours for a stuido/practical class.
Well that is enought from me at the moment

Oh to travel! Yeah, Europe, Egypt, everywhere! I want to see the world!
I look forward to storyboarding and learning animation so much! I really do! All of it- the frustrations, the victories (however small!), the late nights, everything.
I do have a college degree already- an Associate's. It took me six years, but I did it and didn't give up. As for the full-time job, I am already preparing myself for that. My entire life will be dedicated to this one goal.
Do as me, I have always a sketcpad with me. Found one that was awesome in size and have a penholder on the side so I can always atleast have one pen with me.
Sadly, no nude men or women around here D: Getting better and better at drawing so I will need to find some good photos soon to practise from. I am feeling good enough soon ^^
Also: You? Old? You be pulling me leg lady of the ducks! As long as you have the energy, age is nothing!
You need to go draw real people! Go sit at a place to eat and draw the peoples around you!
And yes, I is old.
